Japan bans exports of oil exploration tools to Russia
TOKYO, Feb 3 (PRIME) -- Japan has banned exports of equipment for oil and gas exploration, robots, nuclear materials and some medical devices to Russia.
The country slapped a new package of sanctions on Russia on January 27, including a blacklist extension on 22 more people and three companies, as well as export prohibitions against 49 Russian entities. Publication of the list of goods forbidden for exports was slated for a later date.
The list comprises of 85 items, also including explosives, tools for composite materials production, toxic chemicals that can be used for military purposes and materials for such.
